Penny Skateboards

Created in 2010, Penny Australia widely known as “pennyskateboards,” was founded by Ben Mackay. Ben grew up riding plastic skateboards and as he got older he wanted to bring back that nostalgic plastic board that started his passion for riding. In 2010, he officially founded his company, he named the board “penny” after his sister Penny Mackay.

During July 2020 I shot a selection of images at artist point in Mount Baker National Forest, for the release of their Penny Postcard Collection which offered three environments; highland, coastal, and urban. I was hired to shoot the Highland theme, as it was designed after the icons and fictional characters of the American National Parks.
